Advice Needed!

While my wonderful husband and his buddies spent the weekend building us a new fence, I was at the beach! I live such a hard life, I know!

During the build, some stepping stones were uncovered. I could only manage to grab one of them, the boys threw the rest away. I wanted to do something fun with it, but am at a loss. Any ideas??

Any suggestion would be helpful! I was thinking of painting it a solid color and then painting a palmetto tree on it. I need some feedback though!

Here is a pic of the stone.

I just had to put pics of the NEW fence up! They worked so hard on it!

2nd Braves game in ONE month!

Matt and I ventured down to the ATL Saturday morning for some fun. We went to The Vortex in Midtown for lunch. It was such a funky place and we had the most awesome server! We then went to the Braves game. Too bad the Braves didn't do well, but we did have a great time together!

Looking for an easy gift-DOG SILHOUETTES!

Over spring break I have been busy crafting and trying new things. Well dog silhouettes came to me after looking at my friend Brooke's tree silhouette. I made one for my bathroom, one for my mom, and another for my friend Mary.

Which leads me to selling them so others can share in he fun! These silhouettes would make great gifts for mother's day or a hard to please person! I can do any dog breed with their name personalized at the bottom or the name of the breed. I can also create the silhouettes or back grounds in any color.

The price for a framed 4X6 silhouette is $10. If you want a larger size, just let me know!

jewerly holder

I love getting inspiration from other blogs. Kristy over at The Life and Times created a jewerly holder out of chicken wire and an empty window frame. I didn't have an empty window frame, but I did find a beautiful frame (not the picture inside!) at a garage sale for only $2! The picture and frame were from 1957, that's what I call vintage!

Sorry I didn't take pictures of the actual steps, but I will link to Kristy's post so you can see her steps! This is a great projects that is both functional and attractive wall art!

Cutest onesize!

Since it is my spring break this week, I have been busy relaxing and working on some cute crafts I have seen on other blogs. I got inspiration from a blog to make a cute onesize for my friend Sandy's soon to be here son, Reece. I hope he loves it as much as I do!

All you need is a plain onesize, bleach, cut out letters, and a spray bottle.
Step 1: lay onesize out flat, I put cardboard between the layers
Step 2: put cut out letters (his monogram in my case!)
Step 3: use spray bottle to spray bleach on the around
Step 4: dry and enjoy!!!!

So easy, but so precious!

Go Braves!

That is Ryan and Brooke at the bottom standing at our seats. Look how close we are!

Friday was my first official night of spring break! woooohooo! We drove up to Clemson right after school and met up with Ryan and Brooke. Ryan is one of Matt's best friends from high school. Ryan and his girlfriend Brooke as so much fun to hang out with. Friday we went to Esso and Spill the Beans for ice cream. We called it an early night to make sure we weren't tired for the game.

Saturday we got up bright and early to head to Atlanta for the Braves vs. White Sox Expo game. I had never been to a professional baseball game so I was amazed by the stadium. There was so much to see and a ton of great photo ops! We sat in the first row near the outfield. Even though the Braves lost we still had a wonderful time. The boys were even sweet enough to take us shopping!

It was a great trip from start to finish. I can't wait for our next trip.
